Joey’s First Birthday @ Home, Arcadia, CA
Baby Joey is one now! His parents worked very hard to make Joey’s first birthday celebration (“Dol” – Korean First Birthday) meaningful, memorable and very warming not just for the family but for all their friends and their children and even for their pets. There’s something special about having the event at home… Everyone feels “at home”, you know what I mean? Although Joey may not have any idea why these many people showed up to his house, but when he sees these images later in his life (when he’s old enough to understand the abstract word like “happiness”), I’m sure he’ll know how people were happy and excited for him on his first birthday.
